HOW TO USE YOUR MIRROR TAG
Hang your tag on your car’s inside rearview mirror – or place it on your dashboard during times – while on the ferry and around Bowen – when you’d like to let people know you’re willing to give a ride along the way to where you’re going.
IMPORTANT – You Can Write Your Local Part Of the Neighborhood on the Tag’s Blank White Space – Use a marker to write the area you reside in within the zone for your part of the island. Example – as in the photo above – write “Collins Farm” in the white space under the Miller’s Landing title to indicate what part of your neighborhood zone you live in.
WANT A LIFT ? Look for a Bowen Neighborhood LIFT Tag for your destination on vehicles parked on the ferry, at the general store , the post office or any place where Bowen Islanders gather.
Politely ask the vehicle driver if they have room for you to share a ride

Let Us Know - If you print a tag, we would appreciate a quick email letting us know. Write to bowenlifter at gmail dot com. We will not share your email nor make it public. Thanks!
The Fine Print
It is lawful to offer rides. You are covered by ICBC for giving lifts – when you’re covered for normal carrying of passengers and you are sharing rides for free. Therefore, give lifts freely. Feel good. Drive safely. Buckle up and make sure your passengers do too.
